No picture because I devoured the whole batch... but this is the best Fried Green Tomatoes... Slice into 1/2 inch disksLay flat on paper towel, salt both sides and let rest for 10-15 minutes, pat dryFor dredging:Corn bread mix (light flour and/or corn flour with baking powder) add white pepper to tasteDip each into eggCover in corn flour mixI fried mine in lard, you do what makes you happy. I didn't do anything except drain on paper towels and eat! Let know if you try them. I'm going to try these with tomatillos soon, so hopefully I can get a photo before I eat them! ...
